
Chicken and rice go together like potatoes and sour cream, corned beef and mustard, hamburgers and ketchup. Chicken and rice just work. Experiment with your rices as well. A fragrant jasmine rice is a lovely accompaniment to this dish.

Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
• 2 skinless chicken breast fillets
• 1 cup rice (uncooked)
• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• Small package onion soup mix
• ¾ cup water
Method:
Grease baking dish. Pour in uncooked rice. Mix mushroom soup, onion soup and water well. Pour over rice. Add chicken pieces. If the sauce doesn't cover the chicken prices thoroughly, spoon a little sauce over the top. Cover and bake at 350 degrees. It may take a little longer than 30 minutes depending on the type of rice used, so be sure to test the rice before serving to ensure it is soft and well-cooked.
