
Here is another recipe for chicken soup. It contains the same healing, comfort of the original soup but the addition of noodles makes this one a touch heartier.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes (doesn't include boiling chicken)
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
• 2-3 chicken pieces
• 6 cups water
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 oz egg noodles
• 2 stalks celery, diced
• 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, crushed
• ¼ teaspoon dried tarragon (or ½ teaspoon fresh, chopped)
• 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
Method:
Cook egg noodles to al dente. Drain. Boil chicken in salted water until tender. Reserve 4 cups of the liquid in large pot. Remove chicken from bones and meat to liquid. Add celery, onion and garlic and cook for a couple of minutes. Then add noodles and cook until noodles are soft. Remove from heat and sprinkle with herbs. Stir well and taste. Add salt and pepper if you wish.
